11 Weeks and counting!!!

We have made it to 11 weeks! Now we can't stop thinking about the sex of our baby! We have several weeks until we figure that out, but this is sooo much fun to dream! I have slowly started to come out of my exhaustion phase - I am staying up past 9:30 now.
Tommorrow I am leaving to go to Atlanta to visit my sister. My Aunt Carol and mom are coming too. It should be a fun girls weekend!

9 weeks today!

Today I am 9 weeks! I had a really long week because of fatigue - I never thought I would sleep this much! I feel like I have been getting my energy back the past couple of days. I am determined to be more productive this next week. I am still not getting sick so I am absolutely not complaining! Myron has really been the best husband ever - he is picking up my slack and not complaining at all. He is going to be a great father!

So I went for my first OB appointment this last week and my due date changed again! This is all just a big guessing game anyway. Now they are saying October 17th, which puts another week of separation from Candace's annual birthday extravaganza!

It is sooo much fun to look at baby stuff - but don't worry, I'm not buying anything yet. We are going to wait until we find out the sex before I start throwing money left and right!

We have a due date!

We went back to the doctor this last Friday and the baby is growing as fast as it should be. They have now calculated a due date of October 25th! It's exciting to have a date, even though I know there will be at least one upset aunt! For those of you that know Candace, she demands an entire week of birthday celebrations and now she's going to have to share! I am sure she will get use to the idea once she sees the cutest baby in the world!

A tiny little heartbeat!

We went for our first ultrasound yesterday and saw McBaby's tiny little heart fluttering! This was about the only thing I could pick out - it's still so surreal that there is a little life growing inside of me! By the way, there was only ONE heartbeat. The rest of it looked like a black blob....
The blob measured about 2.2 centimeters which is smaller than a normal 7 week measurement so our doctor thinks it's more like 5.5 weeks. This would mean a later due date towards the end of October. If we play our cards right we could steal the attention from Aunt Candace's birthday week celebration!!!

Back from Mexico!

We had a wonderful time in Mexico! The weather was awesome and the food was terrific. I made it thru without getting sick :) I didn't get as many funny looks as I thought I would for ordering "virgin" drinks!
It's been rough going back to work - I am soooo tired! I went to bed at 7:30 the other night!! Myron and I have nicknamed this "prego-land" and we've also started calling the baby McBaby instead of "it". Just seems more sincere....

We're Pregnant!!!

We received confirmation today that I am absolutely pregnant! I have had 2 positive lab results and we actually have an ultrasound scheduled in 2 weeks. For now, we are just getting ready for Mexico! It's not the trip we originally planned, but we think it will be even better.
